Description
Tiger puka shell extra large beads 16-20mm. The term puka is originally from a Hawaiian word for hole referring to the naturally-occuring holer of the shell fragments which are then strung and made into a necklace. Puka shells were very popular jewelry worn in the 70’s. Heishi literally means shells that are cut into tiny pieces drilled, strung and shaped then strung into necklaces.
