STEP 1:
Let’s start putting a bail on the pendant. To do that, open a silver plated split rings (FMRS8S-144), attach this split rings onto the loop of the silver plated metal framed pendant w/ teardrop paua shell inset (MPSS1025x33PW).
STEP 2:
With the bail attached, string the pendants bail onto a 16in. royal blue organza ribbon half-inch (RB-05RB-1M). On both ends of the ribbon attach a silver plated suede end caps (FMSES-144).
STEP 3:
On the right side of the necklace use an open jump ring (SSRJ6-100) to attach the silver plated suede end caps and a silver plated lobster clasp medium (FMCLLMES-24).
STEP 4:
On the other side of the necklace attach six pcs. open jump rings onto the silver plated suede end caps.
STEP 5:
To finish this project off, on a head pin (SFPH020x15-100) string one piece flat disc silver plated bead (LSMS023). Make the first half of the wrapped loop, attach to the last open jump ring then finish the wraps.
TIPS:
To attach the suede end caps onto the organza ribbon, first, fold one end of the ribbon lengthwise. Second, unfold the ribbon, leaving the crease produced by the fold for the next step. Third, fold the top end down just enough the fold touches the crease. fourth, fold the bottom end up about the same amount. Let the fold again touches the crease. Fifth, cut off excess ribbon to even the length. Sixth, slide the ribbon onto the suede end caps. And last, gently squeeze the right side of the suede end caps with the chain nose pliers until it is lying flat against the ribbon. Gently, squeeze the left side of the suede end caps until it is lying flat on top of the right side of the suede end caps.
Do the same process on the other end of the ribbon to complete the neckline.
