STEP 1:
Let’s start at the right side to make this necklace. Open a split rings (FMRS8G-144), attach a lobster clasp medium (FMCLLMEG-24) and a gold plated tube cord end (FMCE27G-144).
STEP 2:
Take two 4.5in. pcs. natural – greek leather cord (BCLG15N-5) and put a drop of g/s hypo cement (TLGSHYPO01 ) on each end of each cord, and insert the cords into the cord end (FMCE27G-144). Leave it for about a minute to dry. Grab the other ends of each cord, put a drop of g/s hypo cement and insert the cords into the cord end. Set aside.
STEP 3:
To create the links, on a head pin (FMGPPH028X2-72 ), string a (WD4028-TE) tiger ebony wood O’ rings hole. Make the first half of a wrapped loop. Get another piece of a head pin and string the other hole of the ring of the same wood. Make four bead units.
STEP 4:
Repeat step 3, substituting WD4028-TE to SGY4432BT (square burnt horn). Make three bead units.
STEP 5:
Use a split rings to attach the cord ends with two 4.5in. pcs. cord and the tiger ebony wood O’ ring and complete the wraps. Continue attaching all the remaining six bead units in this order. Square burnt horn and tiger ebony wood O’ ring until you reached the last wood O’ ring. Complete the wraps of each bead unit.
STEP 6:
For the left neckline, repeat step two. Then use a split rings to attach the loop of wood O’ ring and the cord end. Attach four split rings to the cord end.
STEP 7:
To finish this project off, on a head pin string one piece burnt horn flat disc beads (SGY3110BT). Make the first half of the wrapped loop, attach to the last split rings then finish the wraps.
TIPS:
When making a wrapped loop, always cut off excess wire as close as you can to the beads. Tuck the remaining tip of the wire tight to the wire wrap so the wire does not stick out that can scratch your skin and snag on clothing.
