STEP 1:
Make the focal point of this project first. Open two pieces jump rings (CORJ8-100). Attach each jump ring through each hole of a sunflower wood pendant (WDS5440P). Close the jump ring.
STEP 2:
On an eye pin (COPE025x2-144) slide two pieces coco beads (COS1305P). Make the first half of the wrapped loop, attach to one of the jump rings and finish the wraps.
STEP 3:
Thread one piece salwag bead (SLG1906P) onto a head pin (COPH025x1-144). Make the first half of the wrapped loop and make nine bead units. Attach one salwag bead unit to the loop of an eye pin with two pieces coco beads and finish the wraps. Set aside the remaining eight bead units.
STEP 4:
On a head pin, string two pieces coco beads and make the first half of the wrapped loop. Make eight bead units. Set aside.
STEP 5:
On a 20in. copper oval chain (COCH0006) find its center. Open the jump ring of the pendant and attach it to the center link of the chain. Close the jump ring. Attach one coco bead unit to the jump ring and place it on top of the pendant then finish the wraps.
STEP 6:
From the center link of an oval chain going to the left end of the necklace, skip one link and attach the following bead units in this order. One salwag bead unit and one coco bead unit. Skip one link every after attachment until you’ve attached the fourth salwag bead unit.
STEP 7:
On the last link of an oval chain attach a jump ring and an extender a 2in. cable chain (COCH0002). Attach one piece coco bead unit to the last link of the extender then finish the wraps.
STEP 8:
Repeat step six except that you are going on the opposite end.
STEP 9:
To finish this project off, repeat step seven, substituting the 2in. extender cable chain and the coco bead unit with a lobster claw (COCTR7x12-24).
