Description
Carnelian 10x20x5 faceted rhombus. This August birthstone is a variety of quartz in reddish to brownish orange in color. It is moderately translucent and often found in jewelry in antique stores. It is fairly an inexpensive stone, but carnelian puts some warmth and beauty to any jewelry.
