Close necked (bateau) which works with lengthy necklace or a layered necklace
draped neckline works with chokers and short necklaces that hangs close to the top of your neck
round neckline works with long necklace
square necklines works with short necklaces with round curves which compliments the square neckline
V-shaped neckline works with necklaces that goes with necklace that has a V-shaped or Y-shape

If you have a collection of necklaces, you can try them on in different necklines and see if you like the look. That is what I would do.
