Base Metal Eye PinsEye pins have a loop (eye) at one end to keep the beads from slipping off. These eye pins are made of silver-finished base metal, a cost-effective material yet equally attractive as sterling silver. Design Tip: For dangled earrings, make a loop on the other end of an eye pin using a round nose pliers. Attach this loop-end to the ear wire, or metal charm to create a drop. Use a long enough pin to allow for a few beads and leave about 3/8 inch for the finishing loop. Choose a longer pin if you intend to twist the end back around. Hurry!
